It was up early to check out and head across to Planet Hollywood. We opted for a taxi this time and the driver didn’t seem too annoyed that we were only going down the road which was good. We paid $56 each to upgrade to a better room which meant we could check in straight away, rather than checking our bags for 5 hours. The room was nice with plenty of space and views of the strip and Bellagio fountains.
We headed straight down to the Miracle Mile shops (we had made a point to avoid PH & around until staying here) and this time it was Victoria’s Secret for my daily splurge. We bought a few more bits and bobs and stopped for lunch at Earl of Sandwich. Their jerk chicken sub is amazing! We had booked to get our makeup done at Sephora where I spent another $160 – a good job I had already sorted the extra suitcase.
We nipped to the Forum Shops to use the wi-fi so I could add my 2nd suitcase onto the flight before I forgot. I spent a while trying to do it and wasn’t getting anywhere so gave up for another day. I clearly hadn’t had enough of Sephora and spent a little more in there as well. (I definitely had a problem during this trip!) I headed back to PH to gamble on my lucky machine (Jokers Heist) and did quite well. I ruined it by playing on some others and lost my winnings.
As we were there, we decided to check out the Planet Hollywood buffet for dinner – it was quite good but nothing spectacular. The ribs were amazing and there was a ridiculous cupcake selection (unfortunately most looked better than they tasted). We did a spot more gambling after dinner and decided to stroll to Casino Royale as I knew their ATM had lower fees than elsewhere.
We did another general ramble around and took some photos on the trip before securing a front row spot at the Bellagio Fountains. We got rather wet but it was worth it as we got great views and lots of pictures. After this we headed back to the room to chill out as we were up early for a tour to the Grand Canyon tomorrow.
